We took 7 days riding, Maria always kept all she promised . Start with... read more the vehicle how were waiting at the airport and took as to the hotel , the meeting at the hotel immediately when we arrived, the delivery of the motorcycles and a special and detailed explanation of our route , we rented two GS 1250 motorcycles, the motorcycles were in excellent mechanical condition just like new, the route planning was excellent And including points of attraction and points of interest that every history and nature lover can appreciate and enjoy, the nature, the villages, the mountains around and the green fields with the flowing water were like riding in a dream. When we asked for special requests such as a small route change or specific help, we received an immediate response with a lot of goodwill, the hotels were charming and included a varied breakfast, we came back with amazing experiences and photos that we will never forget, we are sure that we will continue to travel on the many routes that the company .... offers, I highly recommend it to everyone !!!

After a lot of research on the internet and interviewing a few companies, we chose Romania Motorcycle Tours, operated by Maria.

Being Americans unfamiliar with that part of the world, we were very skeptical about the goods and services we would receive for our money, if ANY!

We couldn't have been more amazed with the excellent service, motorcycles, lodging, and itinerary that we received. Every day we were treated to scenic back roads and byways that only a 'local' could know. The GPS tracks that we were given made it easy to relax while navigating and staying on track. And the itinerary we were given included interesting history and background of the places we were visiting, as well as great recommendations for food, beverage, and rest along the way.

Maria stayed in contact with us along the journey, putting our minds at ease that if anything went amiss, she would be there to guide us back on track.

After the trip was over, I encountered a super frustrating experience trying to get my bicycle shipped back to the USA. (nothing to do with the moto tour) When Maria found out about my problem, she stepped in and spent countless hours dealing with red tape and bureaucracy to get me on my way. Wow, that was so far above and beyond anything I could have hoped for.

Our experience was that booking a trip with Maria and Romania Motorcycle Tours is like booking a trip with a trusted friend, in something they are absolutely competent and familiar with. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

By the way, the Balkans are a marvelous place; super friendly people, really amazing culture and scenery, and unbelievably affordable.
