We will pick you up from the airport and we will take you to a beautiful hotel in the middle of the old town, walking area to all the attractions Bucharest can offer!
If time allows, we recommend you to visit the Palace of the Parliament, the second largest building in the world after Pentagon. You may explore the old town; taste a Romanian wine and feel the spirit of the people and the city!
Today you will start your journey to the Carpathian Mountains! We have chosen for you a perfect motorcycle ride through the mountain with serpentines and a splendid view of Cheia Pass. Cheia Pass is one of the most famous passes in Romania but not very well known by foreigners.
On the way, you may visit the biggest salt mine in Europe, Slanic Prahova. The Salt Mine stands today for one of the most important watering and climatic resorts in Romania, situated between the Prahova Valley, 53.000 sqm wide and 208 m deep.
After breathing the amazing salt air, you have the chance to enjoy a Romanian traditional lunch prepared for you in the heart of the mountains, one of the most delicious traditional lunches you have ever tasted.
You will continue your ride towards an old medieval city, walk on the narrowest street in Europe and admire the Gothic, baroque and renaissance architecture of the old buildings, as well as the wealth of historical attractions of one of the most visited places in Romania.
We invite you in the morning to experience the history, the myth, the intrigue and the magic of this wonderful place of Transylvania, the Bran Castle, commonly known as famous Dracula Castle.
Should you be more excited today to ride on the famous Transfagarasan Pass, the most wanted road by motorcycle riders all over the world! Transfagarasan Pass crosses the Carpathian Mountains and offers you the most spectacular view in Romania.
You will ride your motorcycle in the middle of the mountains where the sky meets the peaks and of course, in the middle of them, the most beautiful lake where you can swim and relax.
You will ride your motorcycle towards one of the most important cultural cities of Romania which was designated, in tandem with Luxembourg, the European Capital of Culture for the year 2007. Formerly the center of the Transylvanian Saxons, the old city was ranked as “Europe’s 8th most idyllic place to live” by Forbes.
Visit the historical city, visit the highlights of the city and enjoy the most relaxing holiday atmosphere.
A great day for motorcycle riding is waiting for you on one of the most spectacular roads of the Carpathian Mountains. Full of serpentines, Transalpina Pass, the highest road in Romania with 2100 meters altitude offers you a splendid landscape, a place where you can ride literally above the clouds. Stop on the way to Ranca Ski Resort and relax at 1600 m altitude.
You leave behind the old town and we ride our motorcycle towards Danube River; a beautiful scenery between Almajului Mountains on one side and Danube River on the other side. You continue your ride through the mountains after passing the border in great Serbia towards Derdap Park, 640 square kilometers along the Danube. The main attraction of the Đerdap National Park’s natural beauty is the Đerdap gorge – the famous Iron Gate – the grandiose gateway through the southern slopes of the Carpathian Mountains where the longest and biggest river accumulation in former Yugoslavia is located.
Today, you will ride along Uvac River, admiring the most beautiful view in Serbia. You will visit small villages, like Sopotnica which is known for the several waterfalls at the altitude of 1000 meters, just above the tiny village.
You end the day in Sarajevo, a city surrounded by the Dinaric Alps, historically famous for its traditional cultural and religious diversity. The city won in 2012 the travel blog Foxnomad’s” Best City to Visit” competition, surpassing out more than one hundred cities around the entire world. You spend the rest of the day in the city, walk on the cobbled streets with mosques and Oriental style shops and enjoy Sarajevo’s cuisine of jagnjetina (lamb grilled over an open fire), begovacorba (chicken), one of the many stews and the local fast food cevapcici (minced meat sausages) and of course the famous baklava.
You leave behind the beautiful country of Bosnia and Hertegovina, but not before visiting Mostar, Hetzegovina’s cultural capital and the Old Bridge in Mostar which is one of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s most recognizable landmarks.
You will ride ahead in another amazing county, Croatia, a country with thousands of islands and islets, Dinaric Alps Mountains, caves and waterfalls, amazing scenery to ride your motorcycle…
Spend the night in Dubrovnik, one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the Mediterranean, a seaport and the center of Dubrovnik-Neretva County.
George Bernard Shaw was enchanted by this beautiful city, about which he said “those who seek paradise on Earth should come to Dubrovnik and see Dubrovnik”, as well as, famously, describing it as “the pearl of the Adriatic”. Dubrovnik truly is a stunning city with its amazing Old Town, which became a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1979 and places it among the 10 best medieval walled cities in the world.
You continue your day to famous Durmitor Park with the highest mountain peak of 2.522 meters. This breathtaking national park was formed by glaciers and is traversed by rivers and underground streams with dense pine forests interspersed with clear lakes and harbouring a wide range of endemic flora. After admiring the amazing landscape and the beauty of Durmitor Park we ride towards Zabljak the highest situated town on the Balkans.
This day is a trip along the coastal line of beautiful Croatia until we arrive at the Skadar Lake which is the largest lake in the Balkan Peninsula. We spend the night in Shkoder city, one of the oldest and most historic places in Albania, we enjoy the local food and drink the traditional wine.
Today you will visit Ohrid city, which is one of only 28 sites that are part of UNESCO’s World Heritage that are both Cultural and Natural sites. It is notable for once having had 365 churches, one for each day of the year, and has been referred to as a “Jerusalem of the Balkans”. The city in located on the banks of Ohrid Lake, one of the deepest and oldest lakes in Europe.
You will continue your ride towards Thessaloniki, the second-largest city in Greece, in top tourist destinations worldwide. You also should visit The White Tower of Thessaloniki, a monument and museum on the waterfront of the city of Thessaloniki. Visit Rotunda of Galerius, one of several Roman monuments in the city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Ride ahead another spectacular country, Bulgaria. Today you may visit Melnik city, an architectural reserve, where 96 of its buildings are cultural monuments. You will spend the night in a perfect mountain scenery in Bansko, the most popular ski resort in Bulgaria.
Today you will spend the day in Bulgaria, visiting Koprivshtitsa, known for its authentic Bulgarian architecture and for its folk music festivals, making it a very popular tourist destination.
Enjoy a perfect motorcycle ride through the mountains with serpentines and a splendid view of Shipka Pass.
You continue your ride towards Veliko which is famously known as the historical capital of the Second Bulgarian Empire, attracting many tourists with its unique architecture.
This is your last riding day in the tour, you will be returning to Bucharest, the capital of Romania. On the way back you may admire the traditional Romanian houses and the beautiful landscape of the mountains.
Depending on departure time, you may enjoy a day walking in the historical city center or just take a ride with the touristic bus that guides you to the most important highlights in Bucharest.
