Itinerary

In the After the War Motorcycle Guided Tour we will have the chance to explore the most amazing landscapes in Bosnia, Serbia, Montenegro and Romania! We will ride through the countries that were at War between 1991 and 1999, after the fall of the Iron Curtain former Yugoslavia ran into an ethnic battle and power struggle among ethnic leaders and their political ideas. Causing a war that lasted almost 10 years until intervention of the United Nations.

Join us and enjoy these countries while they are regaining their strengths, watch how they are constantly evolving and flourishing and see the natural beauties, the cities and the people.

We only plan life time experiences! 

Day 1Bucharest arrival

Welcome to Bucharest!
We prepared for you a visit to the Palace of the Parliament, the second largest building in the world after Pentagon. Or you can just walk in the old center where your hotel is located, taste a Romanian wine and feel the spirit of the people and the city!

Day 2

We will start our journey to the Carpathian Mountains! We will explore our first riding day getting to know Romania better, to feel the locals and see their living and habits.

We will cross the “Black Hill” and make a stop at Horezu, the village where the handcrafts create art with their own hands!

We end the day in a small town in a nice 4* hotel with swimming pool and spa services.

Day 3

We continue our ride through the mountains towards Derdap Park, 640 square kilometers along the Danube. The main attraction of the Đerdap National Park’s natural beauty is the Đerdap gorge – the famous Iron Gate – the grandiose gateway through the southern slopes of the Carpathian Mountains where the longest and biggest river accumulation in former Yugoslavia is located. The day ends in historical Belgrade, the capital of Serbia!

Day 4

We leave behind the beauty of the city and ride our bikes towards another capital.The road takes us along the Drina river showing us a splendid view of the Gucevo mountains.

We will continue our journey to Srebrenica where we can make a stop at the Srebrenica–Potočari Memorial and Cemetery for the Victims of the 1995 Genocide.

The day ends in one of the most beautiful cities, Sarajevo! We learn the culture and the history of the amazing Sarajevo, the city where the east meets the west, it is also considered the most intrigue city of Europe!

Day 5

We leave behind the beauty of the city and ride our bikes towards another capital.The road takes us along the Drina river showing us a splendid view of the Gucevo mountains.

Day 6

The day could not get better! The most famous canyon in the Balkans is waiting for you!! Tara canyon is the deepest gorge in Europe and the second in the world after the Grand Canyon!
We will admire today the spectacular landscape that takes your breath away, this is a day that you will never forget!

Day 7

The day could not get better! The most famous canyon in the Balkans is waiting for you!! Tara canyon is the deepest gorge in Europe and the second in the world after the Grand Canyon!
We will admire today the spectacular landscape that takes your breath away, this is a day that you will never forget!

Day 8

It is time to return to the wonderful Romania! Along the trip we get to know better the Serbian villages, ride in small villages and see how the local people live! On the way, we will admire the famous Decebal statue from the other side of the mountains.

We spend the night in a famous resort on the water with an excellent view of the mountains, the place is absolutely fabulous!

DAY 9

This is our last day in the tour. We will ride our motorcycles towards the capital of Romania, beautiful Bucharest.

You get to see on the way the living style of the southern part of Romania, Oltenia region, reach Bucharest and take a walk in the center of a vibrate and beautiful city!

DAY 10Bucharest departure

Depending on departure time, you may enjoy a day walking in the historical city center or just take a ride with the touristic bus that guides you to the most important highlights in Bucharest.
