Itinerary

Day 1Bucharest arrival

Welcome to Bucharest!
Starting your Balkan experience we prepared a visit to the Palace of Parliament, the second largest building in the world after Pentagon or you can just walk in the old city center near your hotel , taste a Romanian wine and feel the spirit of the people and the city!

Day 2

The day starts with a journey to the Carpathian Mountains! We have chosen a perfect motorcycle ride through the mountains with curvy roads on some of the most beautiful passes in Romania. You will be riding on the famous Transfagarasan Pass, the most wanted road by motorcycle riders all over the world! Transfagarasan Pass crosses the Carpathian Mountains and offers you the most spectacular views in Romania. We will spend the night in a medieval town, according to Forbes magazine “Europe’s Most Idyllic Places To Live”.

Day 3

A great day for motorcycle riding is waiting for you on one of the most beautiful roads of the Carpathian Mountains. Full of serpentines, Transalpina Pass, the highest road in Romania with 2100 meters altitude offers you a place where you can ride above the clouds.
We end the day with a night in a beautiful winery, a 5 Star location in the middle of the vineyard enjoying a traditional dinner along with wine tasting!

Day 4

We leave behind the beautiful winery and we ride our motorcycles towards Danube River, a beautiful scenery between Almajului Mountains on one side and Danube River on the other side. We will ride the bikes through a fantastic thermal resort where we can grab a lunch and admire the historic buildings that are now abandoned. We continue our ride through the mountains, passing the Domogled Mountains and spend the night on the riverside admiring the most spectacular views of the mountains!

Day 5

We continue our ride through the mountains towards Derdap Park, 640 square kilometers along the Danube. The main attraction of the Đerdap National Park’s natural beauty is the Đerdap gorge – the famous Iron Gate – the grandiose gateway through the southern slopes of the Carpathian Mountains where the longest and biggest river accumulation in former Yugoslavia is located. The day ends in historical Belgrade, the capital of Serbia!

Day 6

We leave behind Belgrade and ride towards Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia. It´s a unique place where Orient met Occident in the heart of the Balkans. We walk through small streets, taste the local dishes and admire the beauty of a very
interesting city.

Day 7

The ride continues in a country where the landscapes are absolutely fabulous and where the Dinaric Alps are dominating with high peaks and gorgeous valleys. We end the day in the most beautiful place in Bosnia, also known as the Jewel of the Balkans, a very small town where you can admire the architecture, the local restaurants on narrow streets and the world famous Stari Mostar Old Bridge.

Day 8

We leave behind a beautiful medieval town and ride our motorcycles towards another historical and beautiful city, Dubrovnik.
On the way we ride on curvy serpentines and enjoy the Bosnian stone mountains, with perfect landscapes and wonderful lakes, a ride that you will never forget!

DAY 9Rest day in Dubrovnik

DAY 10

This day is a trip along the coastal line of beautiful Croatia until we arrive at the Skadar Lake which is the largest lake in the Balkan Peninsula. We spend the night in Shkoder city, one of the oldest and most historic places in Albania, we enjoy the local food and drink the traditional wine.

DAY 11

We continue our journey riding through the spectacular Erzen valley, enjoying the hills, olive groves, and surrounding mountains.
Spending the rest of the day in Ohrid, the largest city on Lake Ohrid. The city is rich with picturesque houses and monuments. Ohrid is one of only 28 sites that are part of UNESCO’s World Heritage that are both Cultural and Natural sites. The Lake is one of Europe’s deepest and oldest lakes, preserving a unique aquatic ecosystem that is of worldwide importance, with more than 200 endemic species.

DAY 12

The amazing route takes us through the most wonderful valley surrounded by limestone mountains! We will continue our ride to Aminteo, an excellent pass through the mountains and spend the night in an old and amazing city in Greece, a city full of history and culture.

DAY 13Rest day in Thessaloniki

DAY 14

We start our day riding towards another spectacular country, Bulgaria. On the way we can admire beautiful scenery of the Bulgarian Mountains. We continue riding through famous national parks between the deep valleys of the Struma and Mesta Rivers with its highest peak of 2914 meters. Spending the night in a perfect mountain scenery in the most popular ski resort of Bulgaria.

DAY 15

Our ride takes us towards another famous place in Bulgaria, an old town which is famously known as the historical capital of the Second Bulgarian Empire, attracting many tourists with its unique architecture. On the way we will have the chance to visit one of the most impressive communist monuments you have ever seen!
Ending the night in the beautiful location, visit the old local castle, walk on small streets and taste the delicious local dishes.

DAY 16

The last day of a wonderful trip. We leave behind the old town and continue our ride towards Bucharest, the capital of Romania. On the way we admire the beautiful landscapes of Romania and Bulgaria and crossing the Danube River a last time.

DAY 17Departure

Depending on departure time, you may enjoy a day walking in the historical city center or just take a ride with the touristic bus that guides you to the most important highlights in Bucharest.
